Sping is here and so are the WEEDS!
Spring is here and so that means it is time to work those yards often and hard. The Association would like to thank all of the residents that have diligently been working on their yards and applying appropriate weed killer and fertilizer to keep their properties looking sharp and appealing for all. There are many homes in the community, however, that need to address the weeds that have popped up over the past few weeks (both in the yards and in flower and shrub beds). Some of you may have already received a notice (or two) about the condition of your yard from the Association as everyone is obligated, via the Deed Restrictions, to maintain all improvements on their property (including those that grow!) in a neat, acceptable manner. Please check with a lawn care professional (or just ask one of your neighbors with a nice yard) about the proper steps for an effective weed control and fertilizing plan. Now is the time to apply weed killer to your lawns to gain control of your yard and establish your turf for the growing season. Lawn care experts at Home Depot, Lowes, or local nurseries can assist you with the proper plan for your specific needs. Below is some contact information for the nearest Lowes and Home Depot as well as some local nurseries in Pflugerville:
If you have not begun your lawn maintenance plan for the spring, please begin now as it will be much easier for you to maintain your yard moving forward if you gain control of the weeds now.
